even though i'm really happy that obama is president,
i seriously can't believe that prop 8 passed.
obama winning & prop 8 NOT passing were pretty much equivalent to me.
so while i'm DEFINITELY happy & think that america is moving forward,
at the same time i can't even put into words how upset i am that california is taking a step backwards and not granting human beings their fundmanetal rights.
it really disgusts me.
however, with obama as president & the democratic party taking over, i am really hoping that gay & lesbian rights will be taken into account and that eventually, discrimination will cease and all people will be given the chance to pursue what makes them happy, no matter their sexuality.

lauren & i go to food 4 less and:
-have fun at 50cent machines (lauren & her skull rings, me and my bracelets)
-buy my latest addiction (supersour sour patch kids)
-play volleyball in the aisles & almost knock down numerous displays/get them stuck in high places & almost pee from laughing so hard
i don't really know what else to say other than my mind runs at 324234 miles per minute now a days. kind of exhilerating.

alfred is getting bigger every day.
i love him.
lauren & i went to pet kingdom today in hopes of getting two baby cornsnakes..
but since we're a married couple pretty cool we needed to make it back in time to watch who wants to date a millionaire.
wasn't even a new episode. lame
i want this week to be over, (really thursday) so that i can relax a bit.

finals are this week.
two tomorrow, one on wednesday.
then home for almost a month.
i turn 20 on friday.
that's kind of an odd concept.
i won't be a teenager.
i'll never be a teenager again.
last thursday was two years of being clean.
kudos to me.
now let's make the other one just as long of me being clean.
i hope i do well tomorrow.
i'm kind of nervous.
disneyland on friday. :]
it's my favorite time of year to go.
cruise in two weeks.

i just realized that i haven't posted publically in a while.
hmm.
let's see.
i'm in san diego.
my apartment/room is pretty kick ass.
definitely a fan.
lauren and i have made our rooms so awesome.
and we're pretty awesome too might i add.
i kind of miss her. i haven't seen her all day.

i had my first beatles class tonight.
best class of my life.
i really wish i could have taken a picture of my face as i was watching all of the clips he was playing
i was smiling SO big.
and the guy next to me was like are you okay?
because i was almost crying.
and i said yeah i'm just so happy.
and he laughed.
FASCINATING.
oh.
and i'm planning on marrying my beatles professor.
because guess what.
HE'S NOT A PROFESSOR.
he's a grad student.

and he loves the beatles almost as much as i do.
KIND OF INTERESTING.
this quarter will be difficult work wise.
but it'll be dandy. hopefully.
not a fan that my finals are pushed back till thursday though.

one month from today school starts.
i kind of can't really wait though.
i miss it so much.
summer has been way interesting.
i learned a lot about myself and about life in general.
even though i'm not really a fan of certain things that went down this summer, i would have done everything the same because what i got out of it has really changed me. and i'm hoping it changed me for the better. although right now i don't know that i can say that.
even though i want to spend my last few weeks at home being productive/doing things, i feel like there's seroiusly nothing to do here. and the quarter system sucks because everyone else is back in school and i'm just like :/
and if my friends aren't back in school, they're other places. like out of the country. or out of town all the time.
i'm going out of town in 2 weeks...
to see my love who i haven't seen in fucking 3 months and i'm kind of going crazy.
IMISSYOUASSHOLE. you better be living it UP in paris right now.
i'm so excited to move in to our new place. i bought my bed. it's full size. it's kind of amazingly comfortable. both of our rooms are going to be pretty tight.
and i'm also really excited about my classes. like really really excited.
